Development of Multiple-Heading-Date mtl Haploid Inducer Lines in Rice

چکیده
In vivo doubled haploid (DH) production based on crossing heterozygous germplasm with mtl inducer lines promises to transform modern rice (Oryza sativa) breeding. However, this technology is limited, as inducers and pollen acceptors have asynchronous heading dates. To address obstacle, we developed a panel of multiple-heading-date that produce for more than 35 days. We edited the MTL gene in hybrid CRISPR-Cas9 system. then selected transgene-free homozygous mutants T1 generation reproduced T4 by single-seed descent method. obtained 547 diverse dates (from 73 110 days) 16 comprising core population continuous flowering.
